Stony Lonesome, a Nineteenth Century Farmhouse, previously welcomed city dwellers who boarded trains to seek the beauty of the Pocono Mountains and a relaxing departure from the hectic pace of daily life.

Today, Stony Lonesome offers the same respite with comfortable appointments at your disposal. You can sit back in our rockers and enjoy morning coffee or evening sunsets on our authentic "lemonade porch".
Our tastefully decorated guest rooms are appointed with Queen beds, CD clock radio, hair dryer, private baths and air conditioning. Bath robes are provided so that you can experience a massage (CMT on premise by appt.) or enjoy a soak in our outdoor hot tub. Take an early morning walk along our 27 rolling and forested acres, and return to a gourmet country breakfast served in our picturesque dining room.

Located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains in northeast Pennsylvania, our guests can enjoy a variety of recreational activities for every season. Stony Lonesome is centrally located to provide something for everyone -  Mount Airy Casino, Golfing, Antiquing, Shopping at The Crossings Outlets, Hiking, Swimming, Horseback and Bicycle Riding and downhill and cross country Skiing. Explore nature, encounter wildlife, fish in our streams. There are water sports for your enjoyment on Lake Wallenpaupack, with 52 miles of shoreline, only minutes away. After your busy day, you can cozy up with a book in front of the living room fireplace or for those who would rather sit under the stars, unwind with an evening campfire.
